About Our Council
Father John J McCarthy Council was founded in 1999 through the efforts of several Catholic Gentlemen in the Blessed Sacrament Parish. It is named after Father John J. McCarthy, the first priest at Blessed Sacrament. Our council is located at Blessed Sacrament Church on Savannah Highway in Charleston, South Carolina. The Father John J. McCarthy Council works closely with the Blessed Sacrament Parish and the surrounding Charleston community, providing funds and participation in many projects.
Council Meetings
Our General membership meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Blessed Sacrament Parish Hall.
Officer's meetings are held at 7:00 am on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
